How I Got Started and Progress So Far
http://www.drbigstuff.com/
Hey Everyone,
I've noticed that there are a fair amount of new people scouring the forum so I figured I'd share my story with you guys as someone who has only been using the Dr.BigStuff X4 for about 6 weeks. If you have any questions feel free to ask, also be sure to check out some of the veteran's posts (ThoughtfulGold, PFM, Dangler, TreeTop). These guys have been a great help to me so far so be sure to read some of what they've written, both the advice and their stories/progress.
I got my Dr.BigStuff X4 mid January and started using it right away. I wish I would have measured from day 1, but my mistake. I started wearing the Dr.BigStuff X4 for about 7 days, 2 hours a day with little to no tension, just to get used to wearing the device. I gradually increased the amount of extensions I was using and now use the 3 inch bars (I started at 1.5 inches of extension which was no tension for me).
I gradually got used to wearing it and started increasing the tension then I hit a speedbump, the 2.5 inches of extension wasn't enough to maintain tension after the first half hour of my session, but I still couldn't stretch myself enough to get into the 3 inch bars. After some help here on the forum (from ThoughtfulGold I think), I decided to start warming up with a rice sock for 10 minutes before and doing some light jelqing and stretching before I put on the extender. This made things MUCH easier.
Now I'm working my way up, I'm going on 4 hours today with the 3 inch extension bars which is about 800-100g of tension for me. I've been wearing the device primarily at 6 oclock (pointed straight down) and have definitely noticed some improvements in flacid length. I also began to measure my erect length. I believe my BPEL started around 6.25 and now I am consistently getting measurements above 6.5, sometimes I even break 6.625. I have not noticed much change in flacid or erect girth which is why I'm now changing my positioning to 6 o'clock for longer periods of time as some users believe this position influences girth gains faster.
Overall I'm happy with the product thus far. Let me know if you have any questions.

Great attitude. I started Feb 11, so far I have
noticed an increase in length in the flaccid state and an increase on
the girth when erect. I will continue until I reach my personal goal..

Re: How I Got Started and Progress So Far
Good early gains. However, I think your applied
tension should be a bit higher than 800-1000g at this stage. I advise
gradually increasing that. You may find that is the only suitable way to
transition that next half inch in tension bars, because as you increase
the tension to 2100 and beyond, the extender gets longer and longer,
until you have no choice but to add longer tension bars to get a
suitable stretch.
Are you going to do any girth work?

Re: How I Got Started and Progress So Far
Thanks for your response, Seeker. I've read
your thread on progress and it has been great motivation for me. I do
want to increase tension however I've been hesitant to do so because of
all the talk on here about "milking" the newbie gains. I was very
excited that I had finally gotten up to the three inch bars but I think
you're right, it probably is time to move up that half and inch - we'll
see how I struggle to strap myself in, it's always been quite of a
challenge because of the small size of my glans relative to the rest of
my penis. I have a few questions if you wouldn't mind answering them
when you get a chance (and any other vets out there - I always
appreciate your advice):
1. Do I NEED to wear the device more than 3 hours a day to get eventual gains? (I know they'll likely be slower if I don't but it's tough to fit it into my schedule)
2. I really want to start focussing more on my girth - do you have any recomendations other than just wearing the device in the 6 oclock position? (I know you also jelq, but can you tell me when you jelq relative to your time in the extender i.e. hour before/after etc?
3. My device actually doesnt reach all the way down to the last set of lines - so I'm wondering if there might be a problem with it? When I compress it, it almost gets to the third set of lines but not quite, my estimate is the max. it goes is 1200-1400 grams.
Thanks again for your previous reply. I look forward to reading your responses to this batch of questions.
Best,
mc1520

Re: How I Got Started and Progress So Far
mac1520,
Sorry it took me so long to respond...
1: 2 hours is sufficient. I've done 3 hours a night for the first few weeks of PE but since my first vacation, can't bear to wear it for more than 2. I have still experienced gains. Also, I want to point out that there are people that get length gains from manual stretching in 1 minute sets, so I'm sure that even an hour a night in the extender is beneficial.
2. My only girth exercise is jelqing. I have been experimenting with Uli's as well. Also, a good gainer from Thunders named saiyan22 got good girth increases from pumping. I tried pumping on my last vacation, and I feel that it does work.
3. The devince not going all the way down means that you need longer tension bars. If you're turning the tensioners until the screw arm becomes disjointed, but still cannot max out at 2100 G, that means that your penis has stretched to the point where your current tension bars are not long enough to provide you with an adequate stretch. I would add tension bars immediately.
Again, my apologies for leaving you hangin. Please, update us on your progress.

Re: How I Got Started and Progress So Far
It's been a long time coming but I'm finally
resuming my stretching routine. Over the past six months I haven't
really spent any time in the extender due to an overloaded schedule.
I'm pleased to report that I'm entering week three of my resumed
schedule and am following a 2on-1off-2on-2off routine for about 2-3
hours a day depending on my mood and how frustrated I'm getting with
slippage.
Anyone having issues with slippage try looking at your comfort strap and see if it has undone itself a few notches. I've noticed that the straps DO get worn out fairly possibly if you use the extender a lot. Once I swapped mine out my sessions have been much easier.
The last time I reported I was hovering around a 6.5-6.625 BPEL. I am now consistently reaching 6.75 if not more. I've also incorporated a light jelqing routine into my schedule after my workouts. I do about 200 jelqs (100 with each hand) and feel that it is making a slight difference - but only time will tell.
I will be following this schedule for an additional 4-6 weeks and see how it goes. Thank you again to all the vets who have given me some advice during this journey.

Re: How I Got Started and Progress So Far
I've read all the post in this thread.i was
wondering if you notice that your penis is getting skinny during the
flaccid state after wearing the device what should a person do.ive
notice my flaccid state is long after taking off the device but after
hours of having the device off.my.flaccid state is much smaller and so
is my.girth when im.erect..am I doing something wrong? I wear the device
for 12 hours a day now at 2100 grams.I've been using the device for
about 6.weeks now.

In reference to your #3 comment, It is actually because your spring inside was cut too long and restricting it from fully compressing. They said at Dr.BigStuff X4 that my deluxe accidentally came with the 2100g springs and were too long. They said to take them out and turn them around, which helped slightly. They ended up sending me a new device. It fully compresses now so compressing and getting strapped in is much easier now. Just email support. They are a great help when you need it!

Re: How I Got Started and Progress So Far
I started with 5.875 inches and jelqed for about
a year and was taking l-argenine. I got all the way up to 7.125 inches
but as soon as I stopped, I shrank back down to 6.25. I was told by
customer service that the gains are permenant with the extender. So
far, I haven't measured myself erect but I haven't seen any flacid
gains. I'm 31 years old now and I was jelqing when I was in my early
20's.
Male Extra™ is made from completely naturally grown plants. Male Extra is clinically examined and authorized by doctors around the world. This supplement presents a fantastic formulation that is even more compelling and ready to deliver you the erections you deserve. Manufactured of a special mix of extracts combined with 70 percent of Pomegranate ellagic, it works very fast. Learn More
